Ticket Sales End March 20!
We are no longer accepting donations to the Silent Auction. We have met our goal and thank the GISB community for their creative and generous outpouring of donations!
The GISB Silent Auction is now open! We have over 60 items ranging in price from $15 to $5,000. There’s something for everyone — art projects made by GISB students, vacation packages, healthy body products and foods, private dinners, museum tours, unique experiences (New York Sidecar Motorcycle Tour, anyone?) and professional services, to name just a few. Go to gisbgala.givesmart.com to view all Auction Items and FAQs.
Good to know:
- We are still adding items, but this is the time to familiarize yourself with the items, especially the ones that involve travel or professional services so that you’re ready to bid later.
- Don’t want to keep checking your bid? Place an Auto Bid! Your bid will keep increasing in increments until you either win or hit your max bid. No one else can see your Auto Bid and you might get the item at a lower price than the max amount you were prepared to pay.
- Can’t attend the Gala but still want to bid on items? No problem! Everyone can bid and win. Go to www.gisbgala.givesmart.com and click on the yellow button “Register to Participate”. Just know that we can’t ship physical items except certificates.
The GISB Gala Auction will again include a special private HOUSE CONCERT.
The house concert on Sunday, May 12, 2019 features performances by chamber music ensemble “Wizards of Saxony” followed by a light dinner and drinks. Limited Seating! There is no “bidding” on this item. Simply buy tickets now to ensure admittance.
The program will focus on the works of Johann Pisendel and his pupils Johann Gottlieb Graun and Franz Benda who were undoubtedly the greatest violinists in Germany during the 18th Century. The GISB program is typical of the kind of intimate house concerts that would have been performed in Dresden or Berlin at the time.
Learn more and purchase tickets by clicking on item #118 “Private House Concert” listed in the GISB Gala Silent Auction.
