The Upper Campus is located at 57 Holton Street and houses students in grades 1 through 12. The Elementary School occupies the second floor of our facility. The newly expanded Middle School Center is on the main level alongside our Main Office and gymnasium. The lower level holds our Upper School classrooms, two dedicated Science labs, our visual art studio, and music room. Students also enjoy two breaks each day in our outdoor space which includes a playground, open space for active sports, and quieter green space for eating and hanging out.

Our learning community enjoys the ease of outings to Harvard University’s athletic facilities, where many physical education classes take place in the fall and spring. With so much within walking distance – public parks, Harvard Square, subway, and bus stations – GISB students have easy access to an array of institutions and opportunities in Boston and Cambridge.

Our campus for the youngest learners is at 387 Western Avenue. Students play and bake cookies at German International School Boston's new Lower Campus

Our Preschool and Kindergarten students are a short walk away in our lovely Lower Campus facility. The beautifully renovated space includes seven classrooms, an outdoor playground, a large indoor multi-use play-space, and a kitchen for small chefs. Our students also enjoy frequent trips across the footbridge to the playgrounds at Artesani Park.

While we reside in two buildings, our community is united. The whole student body comes together throughout the year to celebrate traditions, share experiences, and learn together.
