Welcome to German International School Boston’s reopening information page. GISB started the 2020-2021 school year on August 26 and currently offers full in-class learning at our Lower Campus (preschool & kindergarten) and a hybrid model for grades 1-12. Details about GISB’s reopening plans can be found below.
GISB’s re-opening task force worked hard this summer to ensure that our school was ready for classes at the end of August. Classrooms have been prepared, building upgrades made, and safety protocols put in place to ensure the safety of students and staff. GISB meets and exceeds DESE safety expectations to minimize the risk of COVID in our community.
We hope that this information page helps to answer many of your questions, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with further questions or concerns.
This site will be regularly updated to help keep you informed of our progress.
